Jerusalem! City of Truth! Yerushalaim! Ir Ha'Emet!
Yerushalaim: 'May they prosper (in serenity) who love you (Jerusalem). Peace be within your walls, Prosperity (Well-being) within your palaces.' For the sake of my (Jewish and Arab) brethren and companions, I will now say, "Peace be within you." Because of the House of Hashem/the LORD our God (Beit Ha Mikdash/the Temple) I will seek your good!"
Tehilim/Psalm 122:6-9
"The LORD also will roar from Zion, and utter His Voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; but the LORD will be a Shelter for His people, and the Strength of the children of Israel. So you shall know that I Am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion, My Holy Mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no aliens shall ever pass through her again. And it will come to pass that day that the mountains shall drip with new wine, the hills shall flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water; a Fountain shall flow from the House of the LORD and water the Valley of Acacias." Yoel 3:16-18
"Thus says the LORD of Heaven's Armies: 'I AM zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I AM zealous for her.' Thus says Hashem:
'I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Yerushalaim. Yerushalaim shall be called the City of Truth (Ir Ha'Emet), the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.'"
"Thus says Hashem:
'Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand because of great age. The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets."
"Thus says the LORD of Heaven's Armies:
'If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes? Says the LORD of Hosts."
"Thus says the LORD of Hosts:
'Behold, I will save the people from the land of the east and from the land of the west; I will bring them back, and they shall dwell in the midst of Yerusahalaim. They shall be My people and I will be their God, in Truth and Righteousness.'"
Z'chariyah 8:2-8
"For the Seed shall be prosperous, the Vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew--I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these. And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O House of Y'hudah and House of Yisrael, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, let your hands be strong.'"
"...Again in these days I AM determined to do good to Yerushalaim and to the House of Y'hudah. Do not fear. These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the Truth to his neighbor; give judgment in your gates for Truth, Justice, and Peace; let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; and do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,' says Hashem."
Z'chariah 8:12-13,15-17
"The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying "Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD, and seek the LORD of Hosts. I myself will go also. Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Yerushalaim and to pray before the LORD."
Z'chariyah 8:21-22
"Thus says Hashem, the LORD of Heaven's Armies: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve/Tsit-tsit of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." ' "
Z'chariah 8:23
"If I forget you O Yerushalaim, let my right hand forget its skill! if I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth--If I do not exalt Yerushalaim above my chief JOY (Rosh Simchati)!
Tehilim/Psalm 137:5-6
"And I will pour on the House David and on the inhabitants of Yerushalaim the Spirit of Grace (Ruach Chen) and Supplication (Tachanunim); then they will look upon Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one mourns for a firstborn.
Z'chariyah 12:10
But then, immediately after that, just like in the days of N'chemyahu/Nehemiah 8:10-12
"Then he said to them, 'Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the JOY of the LORD is your strength. So the Levites quieted the people, saying, "Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved." And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them."
"Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your Gates; He has blessed your children within you. He puts Shalom/Peace in your borders, and satisfies you with the finest wheat (every provision for the spirit, soul, and body)."
Tehilim/Psalm 147:12-14
